Our Founders

The Founders of Harvestime Church

Rev Kola Ewuosho was called by God into full time ministry in 1986, following his graduation from university in Nigeria as a mechanical engineer. He then went on to a Bible training school and after graduating from here, Reverend Kola pioneered his first church: the Word of Faith Christian Centre in Kano, Nigeria.
Reverend Kola married his wife Reverend Funke in 1988. Reverend Funke, who had already a ministered as a teacher of the Word at her former church, then joined her husband in Kano. Here she continued practising her legal profession for another year before joining her husband in full-time ministry. Since then, they have laboured side-by-side in the ministry.

Their commitment and love for the Word of God is evident throughout their teaching and preaching and they continue to train and disciple a multitude of believers through their sermons and books. Many believers who have been discipled by Reverend Kola and Funke have gone on to become leaders in various churches and Christian ministries around the world.

God has also opened the door to many nations, enabling Reverend Kola and Funke to preach God’s Word in nearly every continent of the world. Both of them have also written many anointed and impactful books.

They are blessed with three young adults; Samuel, Keji and Joanna.

Today Reverend Kola and Funke are based in the UK leading Harvestime Church in Virginia Water, whilst also giving Apostolic oversight to all the Fountain of Wisdom Ministries Churches around the world.

Fountain of Wisdom Ministries

Harvestime Church is part of the Fountain of Wisdom Ministries. The vision of FOWM takes its root from the commission God gave to Reverend Kola Ewuosho, when he was a university student in Nigeria. The words “Create a forum where my people can flow with Me” were formed in his heart.

The perception then was that many people who love and are willing to serve God lacked the understanding of who He is and how He operates; therefore being unable to participate with Him to see His purposes fulfilled in their lives. When the foundation of people’s knowledge of God is not correct , their ability to function in their callings, ministries or assignments is impaired or limited. Therefore purposes go unfulfilled and lives are full of frustration and confusion.
The Fountain of Wisdom Ministries was birthed to effect the necessary changes in the lives of everyone it has the privilege of meeting and influencing, enabling them to be free to fulfil their God-given purpose.

Our goal is to participate with God’s purposes in the nations which He opens up to us and this is accomplished through every available means, including our church meetings, mentoring, leadership training, Bible schools and conferences. The FOWM publications, CDs and DVDs carry messages that have the potential to bring understanding, direction and strength to all who listen with their hearts. Testimonies abound about the lives that have been transformed all over the world.

Our Vision

Our vision is “to raise people of creativity and wisdom walking by faith and in victory, seeing to the advancement of God’s Kingdom in every sphere of human existence. A people of integrity and transparent honesty, walking in God’s love and radiating His glory, reaching out to others for reconciliation and reaching up to God to be carriers of His will on earth.”

Pastoral care efforts in this local church are heavily combined with focus groups including our growing children’s church, student-body, and the men and women’s network.

Settling in amongst like-minded people within the community is essential to our well-being, and our social expression is made room for here in HC.
